Yeah, I know.. a rip off from Craiggers - but his show is pretty much sucking right now (should have stayed with The Daily Show), so I don't feel nearly as bad as I would normally for stealing his stuff.  I think I could do a better job with it anyway.

So here it is, my words of wisdom to take you through your day (or couple of days as you will cut me some slack on how often I update this).  You can even ask a specific question to me (via email - not icq) if you want some specific "wisdom" from me.
Here is some non specific wisdom:

So I realized I needed to pick up a few things for Fantasm when I got to Atlanta on Thursday. So Friday, Wes and I were trying to find a ride into little five points (mainly Junkman's Daughter) to buy some fabo clothes that aren't sold in Huntsville (there are a lot of channels we don't get here and a good shopping opportunity is one of them). Belle (of Southern Belle Cam) and Lily (of Lily of the Alley Cam) offered to take us there and make a day of it.

Now I know that I am not exactly up on where everything is in Atlanta, but I do know that an hour is probably taking a long time to get there - especially when you are only 5 minutes from downtown. I couldn't complain, I had a car and chose not to drive, but when you end up exiting at random stops all along 285 because you "think" you missed the one you needed and then missed it again - well you get the picture - Belle took us on a lovely and scenic drive (please note the sarcasm dripping on the end of that sentence).

And this chick pretty much displayed her dominance of the road by ramming her front end over three lanes into oncoming traffice. To calm the other motorists, she would wave her hand delicately in their direction and in her southern drawl yell "thank you sweetie". We came close many times to people who didn't understand that way of thinking and were looking to teach Belle a silent lesson or two with a handy crow bar but then she would be off at ninety miles an hour to our next missed exit and thus repeat the process. (Belle knows I am just joking with her - she is a sweetheart, but not when she is behind the wheel).

When we did finally get there, we did have a pretty good time. Wes ended up buying a really cool pair of leather pants (that have now become his new best friend in his closet) and I bought a cool-a-roo aqua wig that I wore that night to the Miss Fantasm Pageant. I also bought some shoes to complete the shiny new PVC dress that Latex Geisha was so kind enough to send me (yes, I will show pics later).

While we were there we did interact with the locals as we passed a group of people who were sitting by a tootlhless wonder who held up a sign announcing that he was Irish and it was St. Patty's day and he was completely sober and would someone please give him money to alleviate this problem. I had to get my picture taken with this green haired man and then immediately regretted it. He smelled like he had more alcohol that day than I would partake of all weekend. He needed no money, he needed toothpaste. So then I just opted not to tell Lily about that drawback of getting your pic taken, and let her get hers done (snicker snicker).

Anyway, after driving around for another hour and a half (love that traffic) we finally got back in time for the Miss Fantasm Pageant where all of us made use of our purchases that day :)

btw: A few pics from that day we spent in Little Five
